What we collect
Your selections (subjects, interests, personality, family expectations, target geography), your chosen country and stage, career results you generate, colleges you save, and — if you sign in — your name and email address from email or Google sign-in.
Why we collect it
To generate career matches, show relevant colleges, remember your preferences between visits, and let you revisit saved results from your dashboard.
AI processing
Your anonymised selections are sent to an AI model to generate career recommendations. We do not send your name, email or any contact details for this purpose.
Storage and security
Data is stored in our managed cloud database with row-level access rules so only you can read your own records. Country and stage preferences are also stored locally in your browser.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run Funl (hosting, database, authentication and the AI provider), or where required by law.
Your choices
You can use the funnel and view results without an account. Signed-in users can update their profile, remove saved colleges, or ask us to delete their account and data entirely.
Children
Funl is built for high school students. If you are under 13, please use Funl with a parent or guardian.
